About Us
Welcome to Saville Needleworks!
Marianne Lynn, our founder, has had a lifelong passion for needlepoint. First taught by her wonderfully talented aunt when she was just a young girl, Marianne was instantly hooked. Canvases, threads and stitches quickly became a constant companion, one that followed her through life, from working in a local needlepoint store to teaching classes of her own.
After years in the industry, Marianne noticed one recurring frustration: waiting far too long for finishing to come back. That spark of “there has to be a better way” inspired her to create Saville Needleworks in the summer of 2024: your one-stop shop for all things needlepoint. From hand-painted canvases and specialty fibers to in-house finishing, Saville was designed for stitchers in every step of the journey.
Named after Marianne’s beloved grandmother, Saville Needleworks proudly carries her legacy of grace, charm and thoughtful craftsmanship. That spirit lives on in everything we do, from the warm welcome you receive when you walk through our doors to the care we put into every finished piece.
As featured in the Wall Street Journal, D Magazine’s Best of Big D and the Life Well Stitched podcast, Saville has grown into a nationally recognized neighborhood staple. We offer a wide variety of hand-painted canvases, from our infamous college boots to celebratory Veuve bottles and everything in between. There’s truly something for every stitcher.
Whether you’re a seasoned professional or picking up a needle for the very first time, Saville is a place for you. We cater to stitchers of all skill levels and love helping beginners build confidence through our beloved Sip & Stitch classes while giving experienced stitchers something exciting to tackle next.
At Saville Needleworks, we pride ourselves on creating beautiful, personalized needlepoint pieces and an even more beautiful stitching community. Have questions? Need guidance? Just want to chat about threads? We’re always here to help.
